Since we are huge fans of Absolut Vodka, especially after the 25 Martini Packs and 25 Gift Cards that we were able to give away from Absolut, we thought we'd check the Apple App Store to see if they had an iPhone app. They do! It's called Absolut Drinkspiration.  If you've been lacking creative inspiration for new drink recipes, give this app a whirl! Here is a list of some of the things it does: 

1.  Recommend a drink by your location      
-First one recommended to me: -Cape Cod- 1part Absolut vodka, cranberry juice, & lime
-Fill a chilled highball glass with ice cubes. Add Absolut. Top up with cranberry juice. Garnish with 1 wedge lime     

2. By what's popular
-Mojito- 5 parts light rum, 7 pieces mint leaf, 4 quarters lime, 3 parts simple syrup, soda water.
-Muddle mint leaf, lime and simple syrup in a chilled rocks glass. Fill with crushed ice. Stir. Add light rum. Fill with crushed ice. Top with soda water.  

3. By taste
-Apple Martini-3 parts Absolut, 2 parts Apple Liqueur, 2 parts apple juice, fresh pressed, 1 part lemon juice, 1 splash simple syrup, apple. 
-Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake & strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 1 slice of apple. 

4. By color
-Absolut Kurant, Blueberry Syrup, Raspberry Soda, Blackberry, Raspberry
-Fill a chilled highball glass with ice cubes. Top with all ingredients. Garnish with 3 whole blackberries & 3 whole raspberries. 

5. By background volume
-Bikini Martini- 3 parts gin, 1 part blue curacao, 1 splash peach schnapps, orange
-Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Stir & strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 1 peel orange.  

6. By time of day
-Bramble- 4 parts gin, 3 parts lemon juice, 2 parts simple syrup, 1 part blackberry liquor, blackberry
-Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake & strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with 4 whole blackberries.  

7. That's hot right now
-Spice Mangotini- 2 dashes Absolut Peppar, 2 parts Absolut Mango, 2 parts lemon juice, 2 parts simple syrup, 1 part mango puree, jalapeno
-Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake & strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 1 piece jalapeno. 

8. That's a classic
-Gin Tonic- 1 part gin, tonic water, lemon
-Fill a chilled highball glass with ice cubes. Add Plymouth gin. Top up with tonic water. Garnish with 1 wedge lemon. 

9. That's chic
-Mayday Martini- 4 parts Absolut, 2 parts lemon juice, 2 parts cinnamon syrup, strawberry
-Add all ingredients into a shaker. Shake & strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 1 slice strawberry. 

10. With an edge
-Italian Stinger- 1 part brandy, 1 part Galliano
-Fill a chilled rocks glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. 

11. Non-alcoholic drink for your designated driver
-Calm Breeze- 2 splashes grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, orange
-Fill a chilled highball glass. Top with cranberry juice. Garnish with 1 wedge orange. 

12. That's quick to make
-Cuba Libre- 1 part aged rum of Cuban type, cola, lime
-Fill a chilled highball glass with ice cubes. Add rum. Top with cola. Garnish with 2 wedge limes. 

13. By the weather (it's snowing today)
-Chai Toddy- 2 parts spiced rum, 8 parts hot tea, 1 splash runny honey, 1 dash peppermint schnapps, mint leaf.
-Add all ingredients into a wine glass. Garnish with 1 sprig mint leaf. 

14. By glass type (I chose shot glass)
-Absolut Peach Shooter- 1 part Absolut Peach, 3 slices peach, 1 splash simple syrup
-Muddle peach and simple syrup in a shaker. Fill with ice cubes. Add Absolut Peach. Shake & strain into a chilled shot glass. 

15. By a bar vibe (I chose energetic for all you Ike's dancers!)
-Floradora- 9 parts gin, 3 parts raspberry liqueur, 2 parts lime juice, ginger ale, lime
-Fill a chilled highball glass with ice cubes. Add lime juice, Plymouth gin, & raspberry liqueur. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with 1 wedge lime. 

16. By an Absolut flavor (I chose Absolut Vanilla)
-Mark Seven- 5 parts Absolut Vanilla, 7 parts milk, 2 parts blueberry syrup, blueberry
-Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake & strain into a chilled highball glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with 5 blueberries on a cocktail stick. 

17. By spirit type (Whisky)
-42nd Street- 2 parts bourbon, 1 part orange flavored brandy, 1 part dry vermouth, 1 part triple sec, lemon, Maraschino berry
-Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Stir & strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 1 peel lemon & 1 whole Maraschino berry.

 18. Surprise me!
-Prarie Fire Shooter- 1 part Mescal, 5 dashes hot sauce
-Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Stir & strain into a chilled shot glass
